Reef Resilience: Building Resilience into Coral Reef Conservation

Case Studies

Since 2005, many coral reef sites around the globe have been working to apply the resilience principles to their management activities and incorporate them into the design of new MPA networks. Scientists in some regions have been working to identify indicators of resilience and then incorporate that information into their management strategies.

As the science continues to develop, we will share the management implications here as well as describe the actual projects that are underway. Please contact us to share your progress and lessons learned!
