In October 2023 in Esbjerg, Denmark, marine managers from UNESCO World Heritage sites gathered along the Wadden Sea to discuss challenges and solutions for protecting marine protected areas. The Reef Resilience Network and global experts facilitated sessions on invasive species, conservation financing, climate impacts, and coral bleaching preparedness.
