Strategic Communication Training – Cuba, 2019

Eight conservation staff from the Fundación Antonio Núñez Jiménez de la Naturaleza y el Hombre participated in a three-day workshop in Havana, Cuba, to build strategic communication skills of the organization and apply these concepts to develop a communication plan to support selected coastal communities build resilience through conservation of reefs, mangroves, and seagrass.

The workshop kicks off an exciting collaboration between The Nature Conservancy and the Fundación Antonio Núñez Jiménez de la Naturaleza y el Hombre, with a Memorandum of Understanding signed between these institutions to strengthen collaborative work in coastal resilience in Cuba. This workshop was funded by the Nature Conservancy’s Caribbean region and co-hosted by the Reef Resilience Network.
