Wastewater Pollution Mentored Course – Virtual, 2021

In November 2021, the Reef Resilience Network hosted a three-week mentored online course on ocean wastewater pollution. The course had 103 participants from 41 countries and territories. During the mentored course, participants took two self-paced lessons, joined two interactive webinars with global experts, and participated in discussions with other course participants and mentors in the course room’s discussion forum.

The goal of the course was to help marine managers and practitioners understand how wastewater pollution threatens ocean and human health and what strategies and solutions are available to mitigate wastewater pollution in the ocean.
