The Introduction to Sustainable Livelihoods Online Course is now open for enrollment! This course offers conservation managers and practitioners a comprehensive overview of sustainable livelihood concepts. It explores how partnerships for sustainable livelihood initiatives can align conservation goals with the needs, priorities, and vision of local communities and Indigenous Peoples. 

The course is comprised of three lessons:  

  • Introduction to Sustainable Livelihoods 
  • Ingredients for Success for Sustainable Community Enterprises 
  • Laying the Groundwork for a Sustainable Livelihood Initiative 

Even if you are not directly working in community-led enterprises or sustainable livelihoods, this course provides a valuable overview of concepts and considerations for advancing conservation towards co-management and lasting, substantial partnership with local communities and Indigenous Peoples.
