The Wastewater Pollution Toolkit provides an array of monitoring, management, and collaboration strategies to help marine managers address the wide-ranging threats to reefs and people posed by wastewater. Listen to this video podcast to hear from two of our case study authors about innovative solutions to wastewater pollution.

Carlos García of The Nature Conservancy discusses using constructed wetlands in the Dominican Republic to provide wastewater treatment. Taber Hand, from Wetlands Work, explains the development and implementation of HandyPods, a container-based system created to serve floating villages or floodplains. Both guest speakers share what conditions make these solutions effective and lessons they have learned through their work.
